About Me

My grandmother taught me to knit when I was a tween and I really enjoyed it.  I knitted mostly potholders with many holes in them.  It was a fun thing for me to do with my grandmother.  I also knitted at home a little bit when I wanted some craft time.  However, as things go, when I started to get older, my interest in knitting was lost and soon school activities took over as they will.

Then one day, after a really stressful day at work, I went to my local Michaels, picked up a book on knitting dog sweaters and that is where what was lost was once found again.  Its been around 8 years since I picked up that book and knitted my little dog some of those silly sweaters.  I have expanded my hobby into knitting all kinds of things.  Children’s toys, sweaters, socks, scarfs, large scale blankets, baby clothes and children’s clothes…you name it, I probably tried to knit it at one point.  I have learned a lot about knitting and now its time to share that knowledge and the projects I have knitted with other knitters.

One of my early dog sweater adventures. Miss BB definitely loved it to pieces…she needs a new one now.

It doesn’t matter if you are a beginning knitter or if you have been knitting 30 years, there is always something new to learn with knitting and there is always another project and more beautiful yarns to knit with.  I hope you enjoy my knitting adventures and learn from my successes and failures along the way!

Spin me a yarn!

Shocker, Isn't it?!
